The Devereux
Foundation, founded by Helena Devereux in 1912, is
the nation's largest and oldest 501c3 nonprofit provider of
behavioral health care services. The foundation has positively
impacted thousands of lives due to the exceptional care given
to clients. A strong, focused commitment to providing the
highest quality human services is why Devereux was created
and continues to provide unmatched care to clients and their
families.
Our Mission
The purpose of the Devereux Foundation is to provide high
quality human services to children, adults, and families with
special needs which derive from behavioral, psychological,
intellectual or neurological impairments. Services will be
provided in a caring and humane way to foster human potential
and to contribute to the person's health, social, psychological,
and educational well-being. The program will be of such excellence
that they may become models for this and other nations.
